He has been providing advice as Independent Financial Adviser for over 25 years. During this time, he has worked with a leading national accountancy practice and financial services companies both large and small.

He specialises in advising people in later life, their families and in particular, those seeking advice on long term care and care funding options both in residential care and within their own home.

He is the SOLLA regional co-ordinator for the West Midlands having first received formal SOLLA accreditation in 2010 and has been reaccredited twice at 5 yearly intervals since then.

In 2015 Stuart became a Dementia Friend and following his own mother being diagnosed with Dementia has become a Dementia Champion within his home county of Gloucestershire. This is in recognition of the struggle many families face and to help change the way people view dementia in his community.

When not advising his clients, he likes to spend time with his family and being outdoors as he is a keen walker and enjoys running to try to stay fit. He also likes to play tennis regularly and while he thinks he is at a reasonable standard (for his age) he has been politely informed he is not Roger Federer!
