Centurion Director, Stuart Doughty, and ex-bath Rugby prop, David Barnes, both of long-term supporters of Bath Rugby Foundation, are once again pushing their bodies and minds to extreme lengths to raise money for the foundation.
Next month Stuart and David will tackle the epic Montane Spine Race. The race takes on the entire Pennine Way, in an arduous 268 mile non-stop winter marathon. The Monatine Spine covers some of the most dramatic and challenging landscape the UK has to offer including; the Peak District , the Yorkshire Dales, and the Northumberland National Park.
“It seems to be the most difficult endurance race in the UK, which ticks a box with us,” said Stuart.
The duo are aiming to raise £5,000 through sponsorship which will be divided between Bath Rugby Foundation and Bristol Children’s Hospital, as David’s five-year-old nephew Owain having been treated there after his diagnosed with AMS Leukemia in January 2017.
